How to stay motivated in your training.

2016 OMG. We're a 12th of the way in and if you've smashed past dry January 2016 with flying colours , I salute you. Now is the time to settle into February as we tiptoe towards Spring and all things revived. But are you really revived and ready for new things!!! Or do you have as much pizzazz as those used party poppers on New Year's eve!.Where did that motivation go ?!.
The mince pies are gone, the prosecco is over and you are back on track pumped up with your training. Life is good and you are feeling motivated a start of a New Year!.. We think you are seriously ready for a challenge!! ….So whatever your obstacle ,move out of that comfort zone and get onboard, as we want you on Team Sweat Room to be part of our 2016 challenges….
Ok, so you have probably heard motivational jargon being bantered around Sweat Room or even in social media, Aiming to push you further and get you more motivated in your fitness quest . You know the lines … “you got to be in it to win it. . “There’s only room at the top for champions”.... “Winners train, Losers complain!”... you get my drift! .. But being serious , to be part of an event or challenge however large or small is a GREAT thing. It will give you focus for your training. A challenge for your body. As it adapts to change in your training , it needs to be given new stimulus. Whether this be strength, cardiovascular or flexibility training, this needs to be progressive so that you see your goals being reached.
